Get Involved

The Metabolic & Exercise Physiology Laboratory in the Department of Health and Wellness Studies at Binghamton University welcomes inquiries from students, faculty, campus partners, community organizations and external collaborators.
Our laboratory is committed to advancing undergraduate-centered research in metabolism, exercise physiology, health behavior and wellness, while creating meaningful opportunities for student learning, community engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Get Involved

Students interested in joining the lab or learning more about research opportunities are encouraged to contact us. Undergraduate researchers may gain experience in areas such as metabolic testing, exercise physiology, participant interaction, survey-based research, data collection, outreach programming and scholarly dissemination.
Students interested in applying or learning more should email the lab with their name, major, class year, relevant experience and areas of research interest.

Research Collaboration

Faculty, departments, student organizations and external partners interested in collaborating with the laboratory are welcome to reach out. The lab is open to partnerships involving metabolism, exercise physiology, nutrition, sleep, stress, health behavior, student wellness and community health initiatives.

Community Engagement

The laboratory also welcomes inquiries related to campus and community engagement. This may include wellness events, educational workshops, health fairs, outreach programs, student engagement opportunities and community-based research initiatives.
